Summary
The formula
is valid for describing circulatory systems. Hence this formula can be used to test the importance and usefulness of new methods which analyse circulation. The new results obtained in this field are briefly reviewed and discussed. The influence of the blood flow and the blood volume upon eye pressure are considered in particular and the concepts of blood flow and blood volume thereby carefully separated. The particularities of the resistance in the venous part are worked out in detail.
