Ankle ligamentoplasty

Summary

The results of a method of ligamentoplasty and ligamentorraphy of the ankle are described. The operation was carried out on 32 ankles from January 1990 to August 1991. It is presented as a valid alternative for the treatment of acute injuries of the lateral ligament of the ankle in young people and sportsmen.

Résumé

Les résultats d'une méthode de ligamentoplastie et ligamentorraphie de la cheville sont présentés. La chirurgie a été effectuée sur 32 chevilles de Janvier 1990 à Août 1991. Cette méthode est une alternative valable dans le traitement des lésions aiguës du ligament externe de la cheville chez les malades jeunes et les sportifs.
