Autoaugmentation colocystoplasty

Abstract

A 9-year-old girl with spina bifida underwent bladder augmentation using demucosalised sigmoid colon added to an autoaugmented bladder. She made an uneventful recovery and has had marked improvement in her continence and urodynamic results. The technique of this previously unreported operation is described.
