SID flare production and Mt. Wilson magnetic class: An alternative interpretation

Abstract

The statistical results presented by Achong and Stahl (1984) may alternatively be interpreted as demonstrating a strong dependence of SID flare production on Mt. Wilson magnetic class of the parent sunspot group.
