Abstract
The indications for use of a transurethral catheter are well known, but the type of catheter and type of external fixation used vary in the different pediatric age groups. In children under the age of 2 years we use a soft pediatric feeding tube for catheterization of the bladder and a silicone nipple for external fixation of the tube with excellent results.
