Abstract
Reports of acute urinary retention caused by obstruction from a congenital bladder diverticulum are rarely found in the literature: to date, only ten such cases have been reported. We describe a 3-month-old boy whose urinary retention could be traced to such a cause and describe a minimally traumatic reconstructive technique.
