Abstract
Three cases of ceco-colonic intussusception following inversion appendectomy are presented. In each case, an inverted ischemic appendicular remnant acted as lead point. Initial operation in all cases was a fundoplication undertaken for symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux with appendicular inversion performed incidentally. Technical considerations of inversion appendectomy and use in patients with enteric neurologic derangements is discussed.
