Abstract

During a period of 15 years, six young girls aged 18 months to 14 years with hypertrophy of the labia minora were treated at two pediatric surgical units in Athens. The clinical and laboratory investigations did not demonstrate any endocrinopathy. Surgical excision of the hypertrophied labia minora has been performed on each girl. No recurrence has been noted for at least 5 years postoperatively.
