Severe dog-bite injury with disrupted bowel in a 19-month-old boy

Abstract

A 19-month-old boy was attacked by stray dogs. There was a penetrating wound of the lower abdomen; denuded ileum measuring 100 cm in length was extruded from the abdomen. This case is reported due to the rarity and severity of the injury.
