Observations of a partial solar eclipse at 9 mm wavelength

Abstract

Observations at 9 mm wavelength of the partial solar eclipse of February 25th 1971 were made to investigate possible limb brightening of the Sun. The results obtained show that less than 5% of the solar disc power can be contained in any such brightening.
