Instrumental polarization concerning magnetographic measurements

Abstract

It is shown in detail in which way magnetographic measurements may be affected by instrumental polarization. To eliminate this influence we propose a combined method of partial compensation and computation practicable successfully with only a moderate expenditure of calculations and instrumental equipment.
