Abstract
The long-lived filaments (existing of two and more rotations) published in the Meudon Catalogues of Solar Filaments for the period 1931–1987 are studied. The dependence of the number and lifetime distribution of the filaments on the solar cycle phase is analyzed. A tendency of long-term variation in the distributions is discussed.
