Valuations on PTR's induced by triangle buildings

Abstract

A valuation v (in the sense of [10]) is defined on all coordinatizing planar ternary rings (R, T) of any projective plane which can be thought of as the spherical building at infinity of a triangle building. It is shown that (R, T) is complete with respect to v.
