Summary

The cyclophosphazenerhenium(VII) dioxide N(PPh2N)2-ReO2 (1 mol) reacts with aryl isocyanates, ArNCO (2 mol), in PhMe to yield solid red-brown compounds which are substitution products, or substitution plus addition products, or mixtures of both. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, mass, i.r. and n.m.r. spectroscopies.
