Summary
A comparison of different systems for the β-glycosidase-atalyzed synthesis of 3,4′-dihydroxypropiophenone 3-O-β-D-glucoside is reported including various enzymatic sources and different reaction conditions. The best yield was obtained using thermophilic β-glycosidase from Sulfolobus solfataricus.
