A rapid method for the isolation of plasmid DNA from bacteria

Summary

A rapid method is described for the isolation of plasmid DNA from Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas putida. The effect of heating the cell preparation during plasmid extraction is discussed in relationship to the final plasmid yield.
