Abstract
Seeds of Pinus bungeana are very dormant due to the impermeability of their seed coats. We have found that treatment with microorganisms (Trichoderma-4030) can effectively soften the seed coats, and thus promote germination. Further trials will be undertaken to confirm the practical application.
