Ultrasonic attenuation measurements at liquid helium temperatures, 77 K, and 300 K in single crystals of pure tin with frequencies varying from 3 to 50 MHz reveal in a qualitative way the temperature dependence of the electronic damping parameter B en. An approximate estimate of B en at 300 K has been made.
