Certain mathematical models to describe the dynamics of polymorphic populations of the land snail Cepaea nemoralis (L.)

Wolda has produced a model to describe the dynamics of monomorphic populations of Cepaea nemoralis. This paper indicates how the model can be extended to incorporate the much studied shell pattern polymorphisms of the species, and suggests some simplifications which may be of value.
