On cracks and screw dislocation pile ups crossing a bimaterial interface

Abstract

The situation where a screw dislocation pile up (or a crack in anti plane strain) crosses a bimaterial interface is considered. It is shown that a closed form solution can be obtained when the pile up crosses the interface in a symmetric fashion.
