Abstract

1.
During the past 7 years research has been carried out on different propagation methods for cauliflower. Propagation from root-shoot cuttings proved to be the most efficient method. It was developed at the Institute of Horticultural Plant Breeding, Wageningen. The results obtained with it are generally satisfactory.

2.
For success, the cuttings should be properly cared for and the necessary precautions should be taken. The environment also plays an important part.
