Contribution to the knowledge of the genus Dina Blanchard, 1892 (Hirudinea: Erpobdellidae)

Abstract

This paper deals with the genus Dina of the Erpobdellidae. A comprehensive comparison of all known species of this genus is given. A lectotype for Dina absoloni Johansson, 1913, is selected. A new species, Dina latestriata n. sp. from Prespa Lake in Greece is described. Data concerning the evolution of Dina are given.
