Abstract
In a culture of Beta vulgaris L., Czechoslovak semi-sugar-beet variety “Choťovka”, one plant was found of which all flowers came into flower simultaneously; they were distributed with regular density; all glomerules—even at the twig tips—were of the same size and ripened at the same time. These properties which are of a great economic value were fixed by further cultivation.
