  • Published:
Euphytica Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Twenty-nine populations of faba bean (Vicia faba L. subsp. major, equina and minor) of mediterranean origin were evaluated for the genetic variability of 12 biomorphological characters at four locations in Apulia and Basîli cata regions (Italy) in 1983–84.

A pattern analysis appoach, based on classification and ordination procedures is presented for to characterize differences among population in mean performance and response across environments. Informations about G × E interaction were obtained.
