Abstract

The histological characteristics of the pharynx, terminal genitalium and acetabulum are described for four species of paramphistomes from fishes from Malaysia and Thailand. New pharyngeal and terminal genitalium types are designated for Osteochilotrema malayae, Helostomatis indica, Protocladorchis pangasii and P. chinabutae and new acetabular types for H. indica and P. pangasii.
