Abstract
Fish community structure in rivers from 13 drainage basins in Lincolnshire and South Humbersidae, England was investigated. Biomass of 33 fish populations from 233 sites was a subject of coenological analysis using dissimilarity indices. A pattern of fish community interactions has been revealed and related to longitudinal changes and basic habitat information. The coenological analysis has given essential contribution to the knowledge of the biology of investigated species and provided practical information for stocking coarse species.
