Four-cylinder In-line Engine Deutz TCD 3.6 for Agricultural Machine Applications

Particularly on agricultural machines, high demands are placed on high torque and dynamic load response with compact dimensions and low emissions. Deutz has developed the four-cylinder series engine TCD 3.6 for the field of agricultural technology. The goal of the further development was a performance and, above all, significant torque increase, whereby, for example, engines with larger cubic capacity can be substituted. In addition, the engines already meet the requirements of the emissions directive EU Stage V coming from 2019 onwards.

Motivation

The TCD 3.6 four-cylinder in-line engine with EU Exhaust Stage IV respectively US EPA Tier 4 is attractive due to its optimally coordinated core components, its torque relationship, its maximum torque of 500 Nm as well as its very good load response.
