Electrification in Agricultural Technology Methods and Technologies for System Integration

In passenger cars, ground conveyors or trucks, most of the functions are already electrified. Partially, the solutions found there can also be used for agricultural machines. In order to select the right technologies and elaborate the best possible configuration, AVL uses the Attributes Engineering method including system simulation and application analysis. In addition to the successful selection of technology and configuration, these methods enable the targeted integration of components from other industrial applications as well as the development of new or adapted components for specific agricultural applications.

Motivation

Taking the number of people fed by a German farmer as scale, the productivity of agriculture in the past 100 years has grown by about 40 times.
