Samenvatting

Alcoholmisbruik is geassocieerd met omvangrijke gezondheidsproblemen. De afgelopen jaren is er veel geïnvesteerd in preventie- en behandelingsprogramma’s, maar terugval in het problematische alcoholgebruik komt desondanks veel voor. Het kwalitatieve onderzoek dat we hier bespreken is gericht op de beleving van deze groep patiënten. Het levert een fraai inzicht op, maar is de onderzoeksgroep niet te klein voor geloofwaardige wetenschappelijke conclusies?
