Zusammenfassung
Der Artikel bietet einen Überblick über die physische und psychische Gesundheit von Beschäftigten in der deutschen Offshore-Windindustrie und in verwandten Wirtschaftsbranchen. Der Offshore-Arbeitsplatz birgt spezielle Herausforderungen und Risiken für die Mitarbeiter. Literatur aus der Offshore-Windindustrie, Offshore-Öl- und Gasindustrie sowie Schifffahrt deutet auf vielfältige gesundheitliche Beschwerden von Offshore-Beschäftigten hin. Insbesondere in der deutschen Offshore-Windindustrie bedarf es diesbezüglich weiterer Forschung.
Abstract
This article provides an overview about the physical and mental health of employees in the German offshore wind industry and related sectors. The offshore workplace holds certain challenges and risks for the employees. Literature from the offshore wind industry, offshore oil and gas industry as well as seafaring reveals various health complaints of offshore workers. Especially in the German offshore wind industry further research is needed.
