Various toxicities: 3 case reports

An event is serious (based on the ICH definition) when the patient outcome is:

  • * death

  • * life-threatening

  • * hospitalisation

  • * disability

  • * congenital anomaly

  • * other medically important event

In a case series, three men, aged 46−71 years were described. Two patients developed nausea, vomiting and leucopenia while receiving docetaxel and nedaplatin (one patient) and cetuximab, docetaxel and nedaplatin (one patient), and the remaining patient developed vomiting and leucopenia while receiving docetaxel and nedaplatin for advanced head and neck neoplasms. All the patients also experenced high blood pressure and hand-foot syndrome (one patient), hand-foot syndrome, gum swelling with pain and oral mucosa ulceration (one patient) and hand-foot syndrome (one patient) atributed to rivoceranib and gimeracil/oteracil/tegafur for advanced head and neck neoplasms [not all routes, dosages, durations of treatments to reactions onsets and outcomes stated].
