Progress Report Strategic Dialogue for the Automotive Sector in Baden-Württemberg

In summer 2017, Baden-Württemberg's state government launched the Strategic Dialogue for the Automotive Sector in Baden-Württemberg. The goal was to bring together the realms of politics, industry, science and research, employees' organizations, consumer organizations, environmental associations and civil society to focus more on scaling up the transformation process that lies ahead. e-mobil BW is to bring together these diverse stakeholders. In summer 2018, the state government published the first progress report.

Need for action

Views on the precise form that future mobility should take do not actually diverge radically. Automated, networked and electric are the three imperatives most frequently voiced, often with a mention of the importance of vehicle sharing schemes.
