The growing number of megacities in Asia in particular requires new mobility concepts, including small vehicles for passenger transport such as people movers. In a feasibility study, Schaeffler is developing such a four-seater vehicle with a wheel-hub drive and steer-by-wire, which is electrically driven, autonomous and driverless: the Schaeffler Mover.
