Transplantation zur Regeneration bei Querschnittlähmung?

Trotz großer wissenschaftlicher Anstrengungen ist bis heute noch keine effektive regenerationsfördernde Therapie nach einer Querschnittlähmung etabliert. Es wurde jedoch in den letzten Jahren gezeigt, dass definierte Stammzell-Transplantationsansätze ein beeindruckendes Ausmaß an Regeneration im traumatisch geschädigten Rückenmark ermöglichen können.
