Die Therapie von Gliomen ist primär vom ihrem Stadium sowie neuerdings auch von genetischen Markern und vom Allgemeinzustand und Alter des Patienten abhängig. Hoffnung beruht auf der Entwicklung von personalisierten Ansätzen und tumorspezifischeren Therapien mit biologisch basierten Substanzen.
