Zusammenfassung

Auch in der Pneumologie gilt, dass eine früh diagnostizierte und behandelte Erkrankung zu einem besseren Krankheitsverlauf führt. Hierbei haben sich aber nicht das Bevölkerungsscreening, sondern eine fallbezogene Frühdiagnostik und -therapie sowie Präventionsprogramme bewährt.
