Zusammenfassung
Das Forschungsprojekt ‚UsoPrax‘ untersucht professionelle sozialpädagogische Praktiken der Fachkräfte im Allgemeinen Sozialen Dienst (ASD) in Fällen des Verdachtes der Kindeswohlgefährdung. Mit Hilfe eines ethnographischen Vorgehens werden das situative und individuelle Handeln sowie die organisationelle Rahmung und die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Professionellen herausgearbeitet. Gefragt wird wie im Verhältnis von professionellen Praktiken, prozeduralen Organisationsroutinen und individuellen Deutungsschemata ein Fall zum Fall wird. Daneben stehen die Problem- und Belastungssituationen der MitarbeiterInnen des ASD in Fällen familialer Gewalt im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit.
Durchgeführt wird das Forschungsprojekt in Kooperation zwischen dem Arbeitskreis Gemeindenahe Gesundheitsversorgung, einem freien Träger der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, und der Universität Kassel.

Abstract
The research project ‘UsoPrax’ analyses professional practices of social workers in cases of suspicion of violence against children. Using an ethnographical approach the project focuses on the situational and individual practices as well as the organisational context and the cooperation with other professionals. We are interested in tracing how a case is constructed in youth welfare offices in relation to these factors. We are also looking for the specific difficulties and burdens the social worker face.
The research project is a cooperative effort of the social organisation ‘Arbeitskreis Gemeindenahe Gesundheitsversorgung’ and the University of Kassel.
