Abstract

‘Moving Diabetes’ is a 4-days training program for diabetic patients experiencing several limitations in daily life. The program aims to improve wellbeing and coping strategies. By using solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, conversation maps and mindfulness, the participants followed workshops on wellbeing, self-management, nutrition and physical activity by a trained psychologist, diabetic nurse, dietitian and physiotherapist.
