Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Beitrag fasst zunächst die zentralen Aussagen der jüngsten Fassung der Konzeption der Außenpolitik Russlands zusammen und untersucht dann ihr Verhältnis zum faktisch zu beobachtenden Verhalten Moskaus in wichtigen Fragen der Internationalen Beziehungen, darunter Globalisierung und Klimawandel, Menschenrechte und andere Werte, der Einfluss von NGOs, Konflikte und Interventionen, Separatismus in der GUS. Dabei treten zahlreiche Widersprüche zwischen den Deklarationen und Taten Moskaus zutage.

The Current Foreign Policy Concept of the Russian Federation: Contents and Problems

Abstract

This article begins with a synopsis of crucial statements of the latest version of Russia’s Foreign Policy Concept and then compares them with Moscow’s factual conduct in important issues of the International Relations, including globalisation and climate change, human rights and other values, the impact of NGO’s, conflicts and interventions, separatism in the CIS among them. In the course of this, numerous contradictions between Moscow’s declarations and actions become apparent.
