Context: There is an ever-increasing interest in the incorporation of machine learning (ML) for improving the diagnostic and prognostic abilities of medical imaging.

Methods and Results:The authors of this study aimed to evaluate the additive value of combining clinical and SPECT MPI data using machine learning (ML) for predicting major adverse cardiac events (MACE). In this retrospective study, the authors evaluated data from 2,619 consecutive patients (48% men; 62 ± 13 years of age) who underwent exercise (38%) or pharmacological stress (62%) SPECT MPI using a high-efficiency CZT system (D-SPECT, Spectrum-Dynamics, Haifa, Israel).
