Abstract

Pseudoaneurysm of internal iliac artery is extremely rare, usually resulting due to blunt trauma or as post-surgical complication. We report this case of an 18-year-old male who presented with a right lumbar swelling after falling from a tree. Ultrasound and MR evaluation revealed a large psoas hematoma. The same was confirmed by digital subtraction angiography, and endovascular coil embolization of the aneurysm was done. The presentation in the current case is the first case to be reported in the literature.
