Evaporation-Induced Flow Inside Circular Wells: Analytical Results and Simulations
The relationship between hydrodynamical flow inside a liquid sample in open circular well and the mode of evaporation is examined. For four different modes of evaporation, we found analytical expressions for the height averaged radial velocity as well as velocity field inside the circular well for the particular case of flat air–liquid interface.
