Unnötige Untersuchungen und Eingriffe vermeiden

Zusammenfassung

Lungenrundherde kleiner 1 cm werden in hochauflösenden CT-Thorax Untersuchungen in bis zu 60% der Patienten nachgewiesen. Gleichzeitig ist ihre klinische Bedeutung als gering anzusehen. Das individuelle Risiko des Patienten, die radiologischen Kriterien sowie die Verlaufsbeobachtung durch Volumetrie erlauben die Entscheidung für ein invasives Vorgehen oder eine weiter abwartende Haltung. Wir präsentieren einen einfachen Algorithmus, der Diagnostik oder Eingriffe auf ein Mindestmaß reduzieren hilft.
