Experimental studies on the failure of oil pipes with inner surface corrosion defects

The results of experimental studies on the failure of oil pipes with defects on their inner surfaces are presented. It has been found that in predicting the residual life of an oil pipe the criteria of corrosion-and-mechanical and corrosion-erosion wear should be used.
