The volume Phraseology in Legal and Institutional Settings edited by Stanisław Goźdź-Roszkowski and Gianluca Pontrandolfo is a collection of research articles by sixteen authors on phraseology in legal and institutional discourse. It presents research in legal phraseology from corpus-based and interdisciplinary perspectives, aiming to update more empirical studies of phraseology in the domain of law and other different contexts where legal discourse is used. Five areas are included in the volume: translation, comparative/contrastive studies, terminology, discourse analysis and forensic linguistics.

The 14-chapter volume is organized into three sections. Section one and Section two are concerned with inter-language studies, and Section three with phraseology in English legal discourse. In the introduction, the editors first define phraseology, summarize the approaches to phraseology analysis, and then discuss the reasons for studying phraseology in legal discourse.
