Notes

  1. 1.

A study did claim in 2014 that just by talking to people who were opposed to same sex marriage committed gay canvassers could change their views on it. But, this study turned out to be a big fraud and was retracted by the publishing journal (http://news.sciencemag.org/policy/2015/05/science-retracts-gay-marriage-paper-without-lead-author-s-consent).
