Abstract

Synthesis of 4-(4-cyclohexylphenoxy)-5-nitrophthalonitrile was developed. The method was used for the synthesis of cobalt, zinc, and copper tetra-4-(4-cyclohexylphenoxy)tetra-5-nitrophthalocyanines and their water-soluble analogs.
