Vaccine Technology III Conference

As the vaccine field progresses and new diseases challenge humankind, there is an increasing need for an integrated discussion of new vaccine and process development, vaccine evaluation and delivery and politics for vaccine administration. To fill this need, the Vaccine Technology Conference, of the Engineering Conferences International (ECI) series, was held in Nuevo Vallarta, Jalisco, on June 6–11 2010. The conference was chaired by Dr. Barry Buckland (BiologicB, USA), Dr. Paula Alves (IBET, Portugal), Kathryn Jansen (Wyeth, USA), and John Aunins (Merck, USA). The local organizing committee was integrated by Laura A. Palomares, Rocío Cervantes (Birmex, Mexico), and Miguel Gómez-Lim (CINVESTAV, México).
