A composite refractory binder based on stabilized belite

Abstract

The results of studying methods for the production (synethesis) of a refractory binder based on bicalcium silicate stabilized in the β-modification are given. The topicality of this subject is discussed; problems related to the instability of lime-silica systems in a wide temperature interval and methods for solving these problems are analyzed. Modifying the initial binder by introducing finely dispersed fillers and plasticizing additives is considered.
