Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of New Ureas from (1S,2S)-2-Amino-1-(4-Nitrophenyl)-1,3-Propanediol

A series of new urea derivatives were synthesized from (1S,2S)-2-amino-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-1,3-propanediol and their antimicrobial activities were studied. Of the eight ureas synthesized here, only one compound had weak antimicrobial activity in relation to B. cereus and Candida spp.
